You can delete your SendBeam account yourself at any time, from the SendBeam app or from sendbeam.io. You do not need to contact us.
How to delete it
In the SendBeam app: open Settings, then Delete Account.
On the web: sign in to sendbeam.io, open Settings → Account, then Delete account.
To confirm, you type your email address. If you last signed in more than 15 minutes ago you will be asked to sign in again first, so that nobody else can delete your account from a device you left signed in.
What happens
- You are signed out everywhere at once, and we email you to confirm.
- Any workspace you are the only admin of is deleted with your account, including its contacts, campaigns, forms and automations. Workspaces with another admin carry on without you.
- If deleting your account closes your SendBeam account, its subscription does not renew.
14 days to change your mind
Nothing is destroyed straight away. For 14 days you can restore your account exactly as it was with the Restore my account button in the email we send you. If you have lost the email, the account deleted page sends a new link.
After 14 days your login and the workspaces deleted with it are permanently erased, and we send one last email to say so. This cannot be undone. We keep a record that the deletion happened, with dates and internal identifiers but not your name or email address. Two records are not rewritten: workspaces you were a member of keep their own activity history, which names who made each change, and our security log of sensitive actions (such as deleting a workspace) can never be edited, by design. Copies in backups expire within 30 days, as our privacy policy describes.
Deleting your subscribers' data instead
If you want to remove a person from your lists rather than delete your own account, use Erase on their contact, or Settings → Privacy to erase them from every workspace on your account.
