Answer email replies on your phone
Answer email replies on your phone with the SendBeam app: read conversations, reply, approve suggested replies, and file, block or subscribe senders.
Product overview: SendBeam mobile app
The app's Inbox tab is the workspace's SendBeam inbox: replies to your campaigns and mail to your own addresses, the same conversations as on the web.
The Inbox tab
- Choose a folder at the top: Inbox, Archive, Spam or Trash.
- Filter with All, Unread or Drafts, which holds the replies waiting for your approval.
- Search from the bar at the top of the list (pull the list down if it's hidden).
- Swipe a conversation right to mark it read or unread, or left to archive it or open More.
The tab's badge shows how many conversations are unread.
Read a conversation
Tap a conversation to read it. Each message shows who sent it and when. A sender whose address couldn't be verified is marked not verified; take care with what it asks.
A very long message, or one with attachments, shows what fits on the phone with a link to read it in full in SendBeam on the web.
Reply
- In the conversation, tap Reply… at the bottom.
- Write your reply. The app shows the address it's sent from.
- Tap Send. The reply goes into the same conversation, on the phone and on the web.
If your role can't send replies in the workspace, for example a reviewer, the app says so instead of showing the reply box.
Suggested replies
A connected app or AI assistant can draft a reply for you (see Replies written by an agent). The draft waits in the conversation, and under Drafts, until a person checks it:
- Approve & Send sends exactly the text shown, to the address shown.
- Edit lets you change it first.
- Discard Draft throws it away.
- Report opens Contact Support with the draft named, so you can tell us what was wrong with it.
If the draft changes while you're looking at it, the app shows the new text and asks you to approve again. Drafts also show under Needs you on the Activity tab.
Tidy up
The menu at the top of a conversation, and More on the list, have:
- Archive, Move to Inbox, Mark as Read or Mark as Unread.
- Move to Spam, or Not Spam for something that landed there by mistake.
- Delete, which moves the conversation to Trash. In Trash, Delete for Good erases every message in it; that can't be undone.
After a move, tap Undo in the message at the bottom to put it back.
Senders and contacts
- Open Contact, or Add as Contact if the sender isn't one yet.
- Open Campaign when the message is a reply to one of your campaigns.
- Block Sender sends their future mail straight to Spam. Not Spam — Always Allow Sender keeps it out of Spam.
- They Asked to Subscribe… — when someone asks in writing to join your list, choose the lists to add them to and tap Subscribe. Their message is kept as the record of their consent. A list with double opt-in emails them to confirm first.
