How to sign in to the SendBeam app, create an account on your phone, add a passkey, lock the app and manage where you are signed in.

Product overview: SendBeam mobile app

The app uses your SendBeam account: the same email, password, passkeys and two-step verification as the web, and the same rules your company sets, such as single sign-on or approved networks.

Open the app and choose how to sign in:

  • Email and password, then Sign In. Your phone can fill both in from its password manager.
  • Email Me a Code — enter your email, then the 6-digit code we send. No password needed.
  • Passkey — sign in with your face, fingerprint or the phone's passcode or screen lock.
  • Apple (iPhone), Google (Android) or GitHub — the buttons under the form, if your account uses one of them.
  • Continue with SSO — your company's single sign-on, in a secure browser sheet.

If your account has two-step verification, the app asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app next. If a code doesn't arrive, check spam, or tap Send a New Code once the timer runs out.

Some sign-ins need the browser: a company that signs in with single sign-on, a workspace that requires two-step verification you haven't set up yet, or a two-step method the app can't show. The app says so and offers Continue in Browser; when you finish there, you're back in the app, signed in.

If the app says This version of the app can't sign in, update SendBeam from the App Store or Google Play.

Create an account

New to SendBeam? You can create your account and your first workspace on your phone.

  1. Tap Create Account, enter your email and tap Continue.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code from the email we send you. This confirms the address is yours.
  3. Choose a password of at least 12 characters, then answer a few short questions: your name, the name people see as the sender, and the business's name and postal address. Marketing email has to show a postal address, so it goes in your emails' footer. As you type, the app suggests matching addresses; if yours isn't found, choose This address is right.
  4. The rest is optional and you can tap Skip: what the business does, how many people work there, how many subscribers you have, whether you're moving from another tool, and what you want to start with. The answers shape your Home tab and the suggestions you see.
  5. Tap Create My Account. Your workspace is made and you land on Home.

Signing up with Apple, Google or GitHub works the same way, without the password step. A temporary or throwaway email address isn't accepted.

Forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password?.
  2. Enter your email and tap Send Code.
  3. Enter the code from the email and your new password, then tap Reset Password.

Or skip the password altogether with Email Me a Code.

Passkeys

A passkey lets you sign in with your face, fingerprint or the phone's passcode instead of a password. It can't be guessed or phished. Just after you sign in with a password, the app offers to make one: tap Add Passkey. It's saved in iCloud Keychain on iPhone or Google Password Manager on Android, so it works on your other devices too.

For your security, the app can add a passkey only straight after signing in. You can add one at any time on the web, under Settings → Security. See Sign-in and security.

App lock

To ask for your face, fingerprint or passcode every time SendBeam opens, go to Settings → Security and turn on Unlock with Face ID (or Touch ID, fingerprint or screen lock, depending on your phone). Your phone needs a passcode or screen lock set up first.

Where you are signed in

Settings → Where You're Signed In lists every place your account is signed in: this device, the SendBeam app on other phones, web browsers and connected apps such as AI assistants. Each shows its device or browser, an approximate location and when it was last active.

  • Tap a session and Sign Out to sign it out. It will need to sign in again.
  • Sign Out of All Other Sessions signs out every browser and app except this phone. Connected apps stay connected.

A connected app holds an API key. Signing it out here makes it connect again; to cut it off for good, revoke its key under Settings → API keys on the web. For your safety, the app may ask you to sign in again before signing other sessions out.

Sign out

Tap the workspace button at the top right, then Sign Out. The phone stops getting SendBeam notifications until you sign in again.

Delete your account

Settings → Delete Account deletes your SendBeam account. Before you confirm, the app shows what happens to each workspace:

  • A workspace where you're the only admin is deleted with your account, with every contact, campaign, form and automation in it. The app says how many other people lose access.
  • A workspace with another admin carries on without you.
  • If you pay for SendBeam, your subscription won't renew.

Type your email address to confirm and tap Delete Account. You're signed out on every device, and we email you a link to restore everything. You have 14 days to change your mind; after that the account is deleted for good. If you haven't signed in for a while, the app asks you to sign in again first.
