Set up SendBeam on your phone
Set up SendBeam on your phone: the Home tab's getting-started steps, your brand from your website, and the name and address your emails come from.
Product overview: SendBeam mobile app
The Home tab is where a new workspace gets going. It walks you through the few things every sender needs, then becomes a summary of the workspace with shortcuts to everything you make.
Get started on Home
Under Get started, Home shows one card per step and how many are done. Each card has the button to do it right there. The steps are:
- Your brand — if you gave your website when you signed up, SendBeam has already read your colours from it. Tap Looks Right to keep them, or Change to open your brand. See Your brand.
- Add contacts — the people you email. See Contacts, lists and tags.
- First email — Write with AI (say what it's about and SendBeam writes the draft) or Choose a Design to start from a ready-made one in your brand. See Writing and sending emails.
- Welcome series — a few emails that greet everyone who joins. Pick one with Choose One, check it with See Emails, then Turn On.
- Sign-up form — a page people join your list from. Create Form, then Launch it and Share the link or QR code. See Forms and automations.
You only see the steps the workspace can use with your role. Steps you don't need can be skipped, and when you're done, or don't want the list, tap Hide. Home opens on the step that matches what you said you wanted to start with when you signed up.
Your numbers and shortcuts
Below the steps, Home shows:
- Contacts, how the last email was opened, how many emails are scheduled and how many have been sent.
- Create — New Email, Sign-up Form, Automation and the Assistant.
- Your tools — Forms, Automations, Templates, Lists, Tags and Brand.

Your brand
Brand (under Your tools, or in Settings) is the look every email takes: the logo, colours and fonts that the ready-made designs and new emails use. It's the same brand as on the web; see Brand kit.
- From your website — enter your site's address and tap Fill In. SendBeam reads its name, logo, colours, fonts and social links; tick what to keep and tap Use These. If the site has more than one version of the logo (icon and name, name only, icon only), each is shown on a light and a dark background, as inboxes show it: pick one, or Keep My Logo.
- Logo — add or change it from your photos. A PNG with a clear background looks best; it sits at the top of your emails.
- Colours — the main colour (headers and buttons), links, text, panels (footers, quotes
and cards) and the background behind the email. Type a hex code such as
#1A73E8. - Fonts, your brand name and your social links.
- Postal address — shown in every email's footer, as the law requires for marketing email.
Who the email is from
Settings → Sender sets the name and address your emails come from. Only an admin can change it.
- From name — what people see as the sender, such as your business's name.
- From address — the shared SendBeam address, or an address at one of your own verified domains. Each domain shows whether it's verified, being checked or needs its DNS records.
Adding your own domain is done on the web; Add Your Own Domain opens it. See Sending domain.
