SendBeam app notifications and activity
SendBeam app notifications: choose what reaches your phone for each workspace, set quiet hours and previews, and keep up with the Activity tab.
Product overview: SendBeam mobile app
The app can tell you when someone replies, when a campaign or a drafted reply needs your approval, when a send finishes or when something stops email going out. You choose which, for each workspace.
Turn on notifications
After you first sign in, the app explains what it would notify you about and asks: tap Turn On, then allow notifications when your phone asks. If you tapped Not Now, or turned them off, go to Settings → Notifications; when they're off in your phone's settings, the app says so and Turn On in Settings takes you there.
Choose what reaches your phone
In Settings → Notifications, choose All Workspaces or one workspace, then turn each kind on or off:
- Inbox replies — replies and new conversations in the inbox.
- Approvals — drafted replies and campaigns waiting for you.
- Campaigns — when a campaign finishes sending, and how it did.
- Form submissions — new submissions to your forms. Off to start with, as they can be frequent.
- New subscribers — people who joined your lists, counted up hourly. Off to start with.
- Automations — automations that stopped or need attention.
- Sending — sending paused or resumed.
- Domains — a sending or receiving domain stopped working.
- Usage — nearing your plan's monthly limits.
- Team — invitations and changes to who is in your workspaces.
- Help requests — when SendBeam support replies to you.
- Security — new sign-ins and changes to your account's security. Always on.
Sounds, banners and the lock screen are set in your phone's own notification settings. On Android each kind above is its own notification category there, so you can give each its own sound.
Quiet hours
Turn on Quiet Hours and set From, To and the Days. Notifications during those hours arrive as one summary. With Let Urgent Alerts Through on, urgent problems such as paused sending or a domain that stopped working still reach you straight away.
Message previews
With Show Message Previews on, a notification says who wrote and what. Off, it says only that something happened, so nothing private shows on your lock screen.
Opening a notification
Tapping a notification switches the app to its workspace and opens what it's about, such as the conversation or the campaign waiting for approval. It's marked read on the Activity tab too.
The Activity tab
Activity lists what happened across your workspaces, newest first, grouped into today, yesterday and earlier. Its badge counts what needs you.
- Needs you, at the top, holds campaigns waiting for your approval and suggested replies. Tap Review to open one.
- Switch between All, Needs You and Unread, and filter by workspace.
- Swipe an item to mark it read or unread, or clear it; tap Undo if you didn't mean to.
- More has Mark All as Read, Clear Read, Clear All… and Notification Settings. Clearing never removes items that still need you.
- An item from another workspace offers to switch to it.
